Terms and conditions for using the HealVik platform

1. Company Ownership & Platform Identity

HealVik is a digital healthcare technology platform that is fully owned, operated, and controlled by TechKnight Solution.

TechKnight Solution holds 100% ownership, intellectual property rights, operational authority and decision-making control over HealVik. TechKnight Solution reserves the right to modify, update, suspend or discontinue any part of the HealVik platform, including features, pricing, subscriptions, policies and services, at any time, subject to applicable laws.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HealVik's website, web application, dashboards or related services ("Platform"), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

3. Definitions

"Platform" refers to the HealVik website, applications and services.

"User" refers to Doctors, Clinics/Hospitals, Patients or Visitors.

"Doctor" refers to registered medical professionals.

"Clinic/Hospital" refers to registered healthcare institutions managing doctors.

"Patient" refers to individuals accessing health records or services.

"Telemedicine" refers to online consultation services.

"AI Health Checkup" refers to automated health insights generated by the system.

4. Scope of Services

HealVik provides:

  • Digital prescription management (immutable records)
  • Appointment scheduling (in-person & online)
  • Telemedicine consultation tools
  • Patient health dashboards
  • AI-based health insights (informational only)
  • Subscription-based services for doctors and clinics

Important: HealVik does not provide medical treatment and does not replace professional medical judgment.

5. User Eligibility & Registration

Doctors

  • Must provide valid professional registration (e.g., BMDC)
  • May register independently or under a clinic

Clinics / Hospitals

  • Must submit legal and medical verification documents
  • Activation is manual and completed only after verification and payment clearance

Patients

  • One phone number equals one unique Patient ID
  • Must provide accurate personal information

Note: HealVik reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend or terminate any account.

6. Accounts & Security

  • Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
  • All activity under an account is the responsibility of the account holder
  • Sharing or misuse of accounts is strictly prohibited

7. Subscription & Payments

Doctors

  • Subscription-based services (monthly/yearly)
  • Features are locked upon expiry, but data remains stored

Clinics / Hospitals

  • Subscription cost depends on number of doctors
  • Minimum one doctor required
  • Subscription details and payment visibility are limited to Clinic Admins

HealVik may revise pricing or plans with notice.

8. Telemedicine Services

  • Telemedicine appointments are paid services
  • Fees are set by doctors or clinics
  • HealVik acts solely as a technology platform

HealVik is not responsible for:

  • Medical outcomes
  • Internet or device-related failures
  • Missed appointments due to user-side issues

9. AI Health Checkup Disclaimer

  • AI Health Checkup provides informational insights only
  • It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical professionals
  • Patients must consult licensed doctors for medical decisions

Important: HealVik bears no liability for actions taken based on AI suggestions.

10. Prescriptions & Medical Records

  • All prescriptions are immutable and cannot be edited or deleted
  • Doctors and clinics cannot remove prescription history
  • Patients can only access their own medical data
  • Clinics manage doctors but do not own patient data

11. Patient Health Dashboard

  • Age is automatically calculated from date of birth
  • BMI is auto-calculated from height and weight
  • Blood group, BP, sugar, and blood donation status are stored for patient reference
  • Data accuracy depends on user and doctor input

12. Data Privacy & Security

  • Data encrypted using AES-256 standards
  • Secure HTTPS communication
  • Daily backups and access logs maintained
  • Use of the platform implies consent to data processing in compliance with applicable laws

13. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Provide false medical or personal information
  • Access or attempt to access unauthorized data
  • Misuse medical records
  • Engage in illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior

Violations may result in account termination and legal action.

14. Account Suspension & Termination

HealVik may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Policy violations
  • Fraud or misuse
  • Non-payment
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

No refunds apply to terminated accounts due to violations.

15. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, designs, trademarks, logos, content, and documentation related to HealVik are the exclusive property of TechKnight Solution. Unauthorized use, reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

16. Limitation of Liability

HealVik and TechKnight Solution shall not be liable for:

  • Medical outcomes
  • AI-generated health insights
  • Prescription misuse
  • Telemedicine consultation results
  • Data loss caused by force majeure events

Important: Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively within the jurisdiction of Bangladesh.

18. Changes to Terms

TechKnight Solution reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of HealVik constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
