1. General Policy

HealVik follows a strict but fair refund policy to ensure transparency for Doctors, Clinics/Hospitals, and Patients. All payments made on the platform are subject to the conditions outlined below. By using HealVik and making a payment, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Doctor Subscription Refunds

  • Subscription fees (monthly or yearly) are non-refundable once activated
  • Partial usage of a subscription period is not eligible for refund
  • Canceling a subscription does not entitle the doctor to a refund
  • Subscription features remain active until the end of the paid period
  • No refund will be provided for suspension or termination due to policy violations

3. Clinic / Hospital Subscription Refunds

  • Clinic registration or activation fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
  • Subscription payments made after clinic activation are non-refundable
  • Pricing is based on the number of doctors subscribed; unused doctor slots do not qualify for refunds
  • If a clinic reduces the number of doctors, the adjustment will apply only in the next billing cycle

4. Telemedicine Appointment Refunds

Refunds may be approved under the following conditions:

  • Doctor cancels the appointment
  • Appointment cannot be conducted due to a technical failure from HealVik's system

Refunds will not be approved if:

  • Patient misses the appointment
  • Patient cancels after the allowed cancellation window
  • Internet, device, or connectivity issues occur on the patient's side
  • Appointment has already been completed

Refunds may be processed as:

  • Wallet credit, or
  • Original payment method (gateway processing time may vary)

5. Appointment Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation timelines (if any) are defined by the doctor or clinic
  • Late cancellations are non-refundable
  • HealVik is not responsible for doctor-defined cancellation rules

6. AI Health Checkup Services

  • AI Health Checkup services are non-refundable once accessed
  • AI insights are informational only and do not guarantee medical outcomes
  • Refunds are not applicable for dissatisfaction with AI suggestions

7. Payment Gateway & Processing Fees

  • Payment gateway charges (SSLCommerz, bKash, Nagad etc) are non-refundable
  • HealVik is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers
  • Refund processing time typically ranges between 7–10 business days after approval

8. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

HealVik reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Repeated appointment abuse
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Violation of platform policies
  • Misuse of telemedicine or subscription services

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Users are encouraged to contact HealVik support before initiating chargebacks
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension
  • HealVik will contest chargebacks where services were validly provided

10. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, users must:

  • Submit a request through the HealVik dashboard, or
  • Email from the registered account email address

Required details:

  • User ID
  • Transaction ID
  • Reason for refund

HealVik reserves the right to approve or reject refund requests after review.

11. Policy Updates

TechKnight Solution reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of HealVik constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
